He is happily married with children.
Education
He attended Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He also has a certificate in project management from the University of Lagos.
Vocation
He began his carrier in Tony Oluwaponmile & Co where he served in various capacities. He later joined Tunde Adejumo & Co where he got his valuation and facility management skills sharpened.
He also had a short stint with Omololu Sanni & Co and Gab Okonkwo & Co His knowledge of building survey and construction made enhanced his analytical prowess of valuation for market value. He had supervised various projects across the country.
He was directly involved in the asset valuation of NIPOST in the northern part of the country.
He was former Publicity Secretary of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Lagos State Branch, Former General Secretary, International Facility Management Association (Nigeria chapter) immediate past Secretary of the Faculty of Valuation and Compensation of The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.
Secretary of the Division of Business Assets and Intellectual property Valuation of The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and Member of The Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria.
ESV. Akinwumi had served in various committee of the Institution such as the MCPD, CAC and other ad-hoc committees such as the green book these at the National level.
He has worked in committees at the branch level too, Education, Publicity, Intergovernmental and Heads of Practice.
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
ESV. Akinwumi attended various courses such as operation and maintenance competency.
Planning and project management competency.
Leadership and Management Competency and Business of FM competency course organized by IFMA (International Facility Management Association) Asset Management and Debt Recovery training organized by Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria.
ESV. Akinwumi delights in researching in various area of Valuation, reading and writing is of high interest among others.
